Authoritative Source

I found this picture online, i was just browsing some images when i found this one, and thought it was a very good representation of an authoritative source. It almost seems a little manipulative in some ways because those kids might not even know what they are doing protesting.

  1. The picture has universal meanings because it shows the side where there are the innocent children and the side where there is a more confident approach with a "catch 22", they lose programs either way but we can save to regain those programs faster if we cut. It sort of shows the kids understand they are losing no matter what so, they just do not want the state to forget them in the future. It is authoritative because it is fact they will get cuts anyways. The saying "Pay Now or Pay Later" gives us a 50/50 chance of choosing the less of two evils. They seem more of an exhibit with the adult people business in the background like they were in on the whole thing by having children protest when they could be in school learning or doing something more productive.
